Dram Shop

The law provides that if a bar or tavern holding a liquor license serves a person that is visibly intoxicated and that person causes harm to an individual, the bar or tavern can be held liable for the harm caused. One of the problems with regard to intentional torts is the question of whether there is insurance coverage to cover the harm.
